Lovely Fragrance of Perfume

Katie Price New Perfume "Besotted"

Earlier this year, Katie Price launched her her very own hugely successful perfume, ‘Stunning’. Well, she’s at is again with a new perfume called ‘Besotted’. Katie launched her new perfume at Cafe Royal in London, England today.

In recent months, Katie Price has been trying to relaunch herself as a class act, maintaining that she’s more than just a glamour model.

But the artist formerly known as Jordan appeared to throw all that out the window today as she launched her second fragrance… while pouting in a tacky lingerie ensemble that left little to the imagination.

The 30-year-old posed for the cameras to promote her scent Besotted at The Paper Club on London’s Regent Street.

At one point she even provided the assembled press a cheeky peek of her buttocks.

In July, Price took a swipe at the establishment after she was banned from attending the presitigious Cartier Polo International tournament, seemingly for being ‘too chavvy’

The mother-of-three, a keen horsewoman, was told she was ‘not the kind of person they wanted’ when her manager tried to book a £6,000 table in the marquee hosted by nightclub Chinawhite in Windsor Great Park.
According to Chinawhite, it was simply an unfortunate misunderstanding.

Since the model has been learning to play polo she was particularly put out and responded by writing in The Times newspaper’s comment column what she thought of the snub.

‘It’s pure snobbery,’ she wrote. ‘However good a horsewoman I may be, I’m also a glamour model.

‘Eliza Doolittle went to the races with Henry Higgins after a few elocution lessons, in Pretty Woman Julia Roberts went to the polo straight from Sunset Boulevard, but in the 21st century we have become even more class-ridden.

‘Unless you are a toff or an aspiring actress, they don’t want you.

‘Polo should be for people who loves horses, not a media charade.’

If you are a regular user of perfumes and artificial and natural fragrances today, you have got to thank the Mesopotamians, the ancient inhabitants of Egypt about 4000 years ago, for introducing these wonderful things to the world. Though there is historical evidence of the use of perfumes, fragrant lotions etc as part of religious rites by many ancient cultures and tribes, it is believed that the Egyptians were the first to use them to anoint their bodies with. Of course, all scents used in the ancient times were purely natural. Sandalwood paste, certain resins, flowers etc were the basic raw materials for preparation of perfumes and lotions. Interestingly, the Egyptians are also known to have used cinnamon and honey to anoint their bodies. Infact, the Egyptians were so fascinated and obsessed with perfumes and fragrances that they considered the oils, herbs and wood used for their making more prized than gold!
